6 - Big Sur Bridge

This painting was starting on location.  I hiked down to this point and set up an easel and began to paint the composition.  A hiker, dressed in the same clothing from the nearby prision stopped and started asking where my husband was.  I was alone, but told him he was hiking down the cliff.  He went to find him and I took my camera and purse and ran back to my SUV.  He was right behind me.  I locked my car door and pretended I had cell service.  I learned to paint with another person after this trip. I went back after he drove off and finished two more paintings before the sun went down.
